Kanab is a small town (5,000 full time residents) but has some great independent restaurants.
We have provided phone numbers for each restaurant so you can call and get their hours of operation. The list below is not comprehensive; let us know what restaurants we should add!

Sego Restaurant
(435) 644-5680
Considered by many the finest dining experience in Kanab, their menu is always innovative. Sego has a full liquor license, serving liquor, beer and wine.

Peekaboo Canyon Wood Fired Kitchen
233 W Center St, Kanab, UT 84741
(435) 689-1959
A super fun and busy spot with nice outdoor seating and live music on occasion. The Hot Mess pizza is my favorite, but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. I also love the garlic parm bombs for an appetizer! All items on the menu are vegan or vegetarian recipes. They have a full liquor license (beer, wine, liquor).
Kanab Creek Bakery
kanabcreekbakery.com
238 W Center St, Kanab, UT 84741
(435) 644-5689
A yummy place for coffee and a pastry, they also have a limited lunch menu. This place gets busy, but their pastries are always worth the wait. Nice outdoor seating.

Adria's Restaurant
86 S 200 W, Kanab, UT 84741
435-817-0266
Located right next to our suite! They are brand new so I'm not sure about the hours yet. They are one of the only places in town that serve breakfast.
Kanab Drug & Soda Fountain
176 W Center St, Kanab, UT 84741
(435) 644-2418
They serve sandwiches and paninis and yummy ice cream. Lots of outside seating.

Jakey Leigh’s Café and Bakery
4 E Center St, Kanab, UT 84741
(435) 644-8191
A fun little coffee shop with great outdoor seating located right in the middle of town.
97 W Center St, Kanab, UT 84741
(435) 644-8001
A super fun menu and great food in a fun atmosphere. My favorite dish is the Utah Beehive but each entrée is more creative and tasty than the last. They have a full liquor license (beer, wine, liquor).
Houston's Trail's End Restaurant
32 E Center St, Kanab, UT 84741
(435) 644-2488
Very nice people work here, and their food is always tasty. Claudia likes the chicken alfredo, and I haven’t had anything I didn’t like. They are famous for their Chicken Fried Steak, which I am not typically a fan of but theirs is very good. Sometimes I just need to get my gravy fix. Even if you just want a good old fashion burger, you can’t go wrong. By the way, they are very good at baking pies.
Iron Horse Restaurant and Saloon
78 E Center St, Kanab, UT 84741
(435) 644-2277
The Iron Horse has new ownership, and we haven’t been there since. We will provide details as soon as we return.

Asava Juice and Smoothies
(435) 644-2637
A great place to enjoy cold-pressed juices and inspired smoothies. They also have fire cider, which is worth trying!
(435) 644-2848
Great food and a great menu. A little more upscale dining than some but you can enter any restaurant in town in your well-worn hiking boots. I love their pistachio chicken and fire grilled trout.
All items on the menu are vegan or vegetarian recipes. They have a full liquor license (beer, wine, liquor).

vermillion45.com
(435) 644-3300
We’ve only been to this restaurant once, but our friends just love this place. Pretty setting inside and plenty of outdoor seating.

Havana Cabana
(435) 879-9605
This is another relatively new restaurant, their Cuban food is well prepared and they have created a fun dining atmosphere.
Big Al's Burgers at The Junction
thejunction.food-places.com
(435) 644-8170
This place is popular with locals as well as visitors. They have a pretty good size menu for a burger joint and who doesn’t like fries with fry sauce! I like their fish sandwich.
(435) 644-3739
Good Mexican food served well by a great local family. My favorite entrée is the Chile Colorado. Closed on Tuesdays and Saturdays. This place gets VERY busy, be prepared for a wait.
